OEIRAS YACHTING HARBOUR, A CHARMING YACHTING HARBOUR

Harbour reception hours:
Summer: 01/05 to 30/09 from 8 am to 10 pm
Winter: 01/10 to 30/04 from 8 am to 6 pm

Arrival:
The reception pier with 58m is located on starboard of the harbour entrance.
The access to the reception’s pontoon is done through a -3,0m dredged canal at low tide.

Berthing:
The harbour has 274 berths, separated into 7 pontoons.

NAVIGATION

Approach:
The harbour entrance is nearly situated at 0.5 miles, on the east side of S. Julião beacon (Oc R 5s), with a range of 14 miles, placed on a grey prismatic tower with red dome, 41 meters high, located in the coordinates 38º40,466’N / 9º19,515’W.

Entrance:
The harbour entrance is done through the northern and southern breakwater tops
Northern Breakwater: 38º 40.62’N / 9º 18,99º W
White cylindrical tower with green stripes (FI G 3s 8m 1.5M)
Southern 38º40.56’N / 9º19.00’W
White cylindrical tower with red stripes (FI R 3s 8m 1.5M)

Leading line:
The entrance is done with 277º course, up to the alignment of the small breakwater beacons, and then it must be corrected to SW (nearly 255º), in such a way to pass between the southern breakwater and the top of the pier breakwater (signalised with green light small beacon), at 3m altitude (Lt. 0.5s;0c. 1.0s; Lt.0.5s;Oc. 2.0s).
